What the work costs

Nothing here is a “starting at” number. These are the rates we quote on the phone and the rates that show up on the invoice. The only jobs priced after a walk-through are overgrowth resets, because quoting a chest-high lot sight-unseen is guessing and the guess is always wrong.

Recurring mowing

Cut, edge, line-trim, blow off the hard surfaces. Biweekly costs more per visit than weekly on purpose — grass cut every seven days is a mowing job, grass cut every fourteen days in July is a mulching job and the machine works twice as hard for the same acre.

Mow, edge & blow — per visit
PropertyRate
Quarter-acre in-town lot — weekly$48
Quarter-acre in-town lot — every two weeks$62
Half acre — weekly$70
Full acre with house pad — weekly or biweekly$115
Ranchette, 1.5–2.5 acres, brush hog behind the tractor$165–$245

Hedges & palms

Trimmed and hauled, clippings gone the same day. We will not top a Sabal palm no matter who asks — hurricane-cutting a cabbage palm kills it slowly, and every honest crew in this county knows it.

Trim work — per job
JobRate
Clusia or podocarpus hedge run, up to 30 ft, cut and hauled$185
Sabal palm — boots and seed pods, 4-trunk minimum$45 / trunk
Ornamental shrub bed reshape, up to 12 plants$140

Sod & mulch installs

Prepped, laid and rolled. Two-yard minimum on mulch, because one yard is not worth hooking up the trailer and driving out to you.

MaterialRate
Floratam St. Augustine sod patching — 250 sq ft minimum$2.95 / sq ft
Mulch, installed — two-yard minimum$92 / yard
Bed edging, cut fresh trench line$1.80 / linear ft

Overgrowth resets

A lot nobody has touched in eight months — chest-high Brazilian pepper and dog fennel. Priced after we walk it, never over the phone.

Reset & haul-off

Minimum, any overgrown lotfrom $340
Heavy volume, multiple trailer loads hauledup to $700

What we don’t do, and why. No fertilizer, no weed control, no insecticide, no fungicide. Applying those commercially in Florida requires a limited commercial landscape maintenance certification from FDACS, and this company does not hold one — that work goes to a licensed applicator in Palm City and we take nothing for the referral. We also do not repair or install irrigation, which is licensed contracting work. Mowing, trimming, hauling, sod and mulch require no state license, and that is the line we stay on.

Nothing is sold on this website. There is no cart, no checkout, no shipping and no online payment. The domain ends in .shop because that is what was available when the site went up — the “shop” is the fenced yard on 169th Drive where the trailer and the machines live. Every job is performed in person on your property and billed after it is finished, by card over the phone, by Zelle, or on monthly terms for management offices.

From the first call to the invoice

How it works

Four steps, no sales visit, no contract to sign for recurring mowing. You can cancel a route stop with a week’s notice and nobody will argue with you about it.

  1. You call and tell us the address

Not a form that sits in an inbox for two days — the number rings a phone in the truck. Give us the street address and roughly what you want done. For a standard in-town lot we quote on that call, because we already know what a quarter acre in Palm City looks like.

  2. We look at the property

Anything over an acre, anything overgrown, and any sod or hedge job gets walked before a number is given. Usually within two working days. You do not have to be home — we measure, photograph the problem areas and text you the price the same evening.

  3. You get put on the route

Recurring customers get a fixed day of the week and stay on it, which matters more than people expect: same day means predictable growth between cuts and a deck height that suits the season. Weather moves a route by a day in rainy season, and you get a text when that happens.

  4. Work first, invoice after

We finish, we blow the driveway and the walk clean, we haul the clippings, and then you get the invoice — card over the phone, Zelle, or a monthly statement for the two management offices in Stuart we service. Nothing is charged before the work is done and nothing is charged through this website.

Who is actually in your yard

The crew

Three people, including me. Everyone is on our payroll, in our trucks, running our equipment. If you hired FF Lawn Services Landscaping LLC, the people standing on your property work for this company — I am usually one of them.

Fernando Ferreira Jr.

Owner · runs the tractor

Bought a used 60-inch Scag in 2019 and cut for other people’s customers before that. Handles every walk-through, every quote over an acre and the brush hog work on the ranchette lots out toward Booker Park.

Marcos

Lead · mow and edge

Runs the in-town route Monday through Wednesday. Four years with us. He is the reason the driveways get blown off properly instead of half-done, which is the single most common complaint about lawn crews in this county.

Danilo

Trim & install

Hedges, palms, sod prep and mulch. Does the pole-saw work on the Sabal palms and the trench edging on bed lines.

Registered and verifiable. FF Lawn Services Landscaping LLC is a limited liability company registered in the State of Florida under SunBiz Document # L22000469943, status ACTIVE, at 14616 SW 169th Dr, Indiantown, FL 34956. That filing is public — you can look it up on the Florida Division of Corporations (SunBiz) record and confirm the name and address match what is printed on this page and on our invoices. No part of the work is subcontracted, and this is not a booking platform, a franchise or a lead-referral service.
About the name. FF was my father, Fernando Ferreira, who cut pasture in Martin County for other people for nineteen years. His initials were already lettered on the trailer gate when I bought my first mower, and changing them in 2022 when the LLC was filed would have meant reprinting the magnets, the invoices and the yard sign for no good reason. Customers still call it the FF truck.

What people say

“Two and a half acres and I had been paying a guy who showed up whenever he felt like it. Fernando put me on Thursdays and he has been there on a Thursday for two years. The one week it rained out he texted me before I noticed.”

Ray D. — SW Farm Rd, Indiantown

“They quoted $185 for the hedge along the whole side of the house and hauled everything away. The invoice said $185. In this business that is worth writing down.”

Priscila M. — Martin Downs, Palm City

“We manage eleven rental houses between Stuart and Port Salerno and they bill us monthly on one statement. When a tenant moves out and the yard is a disaster they walk it and give us a real number instead of a surprise.”

K. Whitfield — property manager, Stuart
